Author Jen Mann brings her trademark honesty to her latest topic, a woman's midlife crisis.

The blogger behind "People I Want To Punch In The Throat" talks about women's midlife experiences.

Diehard fans of Jen Mann's blog, books and Facebook groups know that the author does not mince words.

But even they will admit that in her latest book, "Midlife Bites: Anyone Else Falling Apart or Is It Just Me?," Jen is unflinchingly, sometimes brutally, honest about a topic not often discussed: the midlife crises of women.

From how her body, and maybe her marriage, is holding up (or falling apart) to the challenge of making friends to sex, Mann looks at her life, where it has led her and the valuable lessons she’s learned along the way.

  • Jen Mann, author, "Midlife Bites: Anyone Else Falling Apart or Is It Just Me?"

Jen Mann appears on Saturday, January 8, at 4:00 p.m. at The Green Door Book Store & Gift Shoppe, 7713 W. 151st Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66223.
