What's The Big Deal With Tiny Houses?
It might seem cramped to you, but there are plenty of reasons people consider downsizing into a tiny home. Young adults who've been priced out of living in the city, retirees who prefer a tiny home on wheels to a giant RV, even folks whose finances were upended by the recession, are all driving a trend toward smaller, more economical living spaces.
- Kerri Fivecoat-Campbell has been blogging about the tiny homes movement since 2009. She is the author of the book Living Large in Our Little House.
Kerri Fivecoat-Campbell will be signing copies of her book, and discussing the challenges of living in a tiny home, at Prospero's Books in Kansas City, Missouri, at 2 p.m. on June 12. To get in touch with the book store, visit their Facebook page.
