Kansas City, MO – One of the world's fastest women grew up in Kansas City. Since graduating from Central High School, Muna Lee's path has taken different twists and turns, but now it leads to Bejing.

Lee qualified in both the 100 and 200 meter dash in the track and field trials, earning a spot on the US Olympic team for a second time.
