Kansas City, Missouri – The Missouri Repertory Theatre enters its 40th season this year...and it does so amid controversy over discussions about renewing Producing Artistic Director Peter Altman's contract. Some argue the Missouri Rep is just experiencing the usual growing pains under new leadership. But, others say the changes under Altman's tenure are taking it away from the theatre's original mission. KCUR's Laura Spencer reports.
