Kansas City, MO – The family of murdered Overland Park teenager Kelsey Smith hopes the world will forget Edwin Hall. The 27-year-old Hall pleaded guilty yesterday to capital murder, rape, kidnapping and sodomy.

Disagreements over spending, stem cell research and ethanol caused some testy exchanges during a debate between Missouri gubernatorial candidates Kenny Hulshof and Sarah Steelman.

The head of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources is calling on Attorney General Jay Nixon to hand over more documents related to a recent failed lawsuit over a historic railroad bridge.

The Kansas City Royals fell to the Detroit Tigers 7-1 yesterday, their third straight loss and since the All-Star break.
