The Incomparable Otis Redding

Otis Redding's Sittin' On The Dock of the Bay is one of those songs that gets stuck in your head...and with good reason.  It was the first posthumous number one hit for an artist...and it was recorded only three days before his untimely death in 1967.  On this edition of Cyprus Avenue, host Bill Shapiro chronicles the life of Otis Redding, a dynamic performer with a magnetic personality.
