Jackson County prosecutor Jean Peters Baker gives her thoughts on the latest developments in the case of Kevin Strickland, a Black man who has been in prison for over 40 years for a murder he and many, including Baker, say Strickland didn't commit. She spoke with Steve Kraske about the case on Up To Date.

Also, the killing of Alonzo Brooks in rural Kansas has gone unsolved for 17 years. Federal investigators are now taking a fresh look at the circumstances surrounding Brooks' death. KCUR reporter Luke Martin has more details on this story.
