Kansas Citian Describes 'Wild And Chaotic' Day During Capitol Insurrection

A pro-Trump mob breaks into the U.S. Capitol.
The Sachs spent approximately an hour barricaded inside Rep. Sam Clyburn's office suite when the Capitol was breached by pro-Trump extremists.

Adam Sachs and his son were trapped in U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn's offices as a mob of pro-Trump extremists tried to gain entry.

Sachs recounts the events surrounding his son's first day as an intern for Congressman Clyburn. He recalls feeling safe initially since the vice president and members of Congress were just a few floors away. That quickly changed into what Sachs describes as "a very very frightening day."
