Lisa Benson worked for 41 Action News for 14 years before filing a lawsuit against them alleging she was assigned stories and denied professional advancement based on her race, and then fired because she sued over it. Benson, who is African American, told Steve Kraske, "it was very difficult going through the reality of working there and looking for opportunities that just simply were not available to me." Today, we learned about her mixed verdict.
