Richard Karn and his wife Tudi Roche are onstage at The New Theatre Restaurant in America's longest running comedy play, "Shear Madness."

Segment 1: Last year may have marked the beginning of a cultural shift for how people approach faith and politics .

The passing of Rev. Billy Graham, the Pennsylvania priest sexual abuse scandal and the mass shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh are examples of the top religion stories of the past year. Two members of the Religion Newswriters Association explained why these and others made the association's  list.

Segment 2, beginning at 23:33: Married in real life, the stars of the murder mystery "Shear Madness" share onstage romance as well.

Actors Richard Karn and Tudi Roche didn't meet on the set of TV's "Home Improvement."  By then the pair had been married for the first six years of what has turned into a thirty-three run so far.  The actors talked about how they met, their past roles, what it's like being married in the industry, and how they deal with a play that can have a different ending with every performance.

Richard Karn and Tudi Roche are appearing in "Shear Madness" at the New Theatre Restaurant9229 Foster, Overland Park, KS 66212 now through Feb. 17. For more information and tickets, go to newtheatre.com or call 913.6497469.
