LOOK: Santa Claus Takes A Dip With The Kansas City Zoo's Penguins

Everybody knows that Santa Claus is used to some cold weather — how else would he tolerate the sub-zero climate of the North Pole?

But old Saint Nick took things a step further over the weekend by taking a dip with the Kansas City Zoo's penguins.

Joined by a helper elf, Santa took full advantage of scuba certification to chill out with the zoo's cold water Gentoo, King and Southern Rockhopper penguins. Dozens showed up Sunday morning to take their picture with Kris Kringle.

If you missed Santa's appearance, don't fret. He'll take a few more dips with his flat-footed friends Dec. 12, 13, 19 and 20.
