Chris Prewitt
Director of Technology & Broadcast OperationsChris Prewitt joined KCUR in October of 2005 through a support agreement with UMKC Information Systems Department. Chris took care of all of the computers and servers until July of 2023 when he moved into Broadcast Operations.
Chris grew up in Overland Park, Kan., and attended Pittsburg State University and graduated with an Information Systems Degree in 2003.
He lives in Kansas City, Mo., with his wife and children. He enjoys the outdoors, road trips, camping, hiking, photography, brewing beer and cooking.
