If fully realized, Troost Village would include six renovation projects, increased parking, and recreational venues.

Involving a stretch of historic buildings between Linwood Ave. and 31st Street, the plan would revitalize a section of Troost that was once a bustling commercial district in Kansas City. The developers say restaurant, retail and office space tenants will be 70 percent not-for-profit or minority organizations and 15 percent of those will be female minority entities.
