U.S. Senate candidate Trudy Busch Valentine

Democrat Trudy Busch Valentine comes from one of the wealthiest families in the country and has never run for office before. She believes her nursing background — and focus on issues like the opioid crisis and reproductive rights — will help her connect with voters in Missouri's U.S. Senate race.

Trudy Busch Valentine, former nurse and heiress to the Anheuser-Busch fortune, has set herself among the front runners for the upcoming Democratic Senate primary in Missouri. Up To Date's Steve Kraske spoke with Valentine about health care, the opioid crisis and much more.
