Each holiday season the United States Postal Service successfully delivers hundreds of thousands of letters to Santa Claus. — Every year the United States Postal Service handles hundreds of thousands of letters to Santa.

Each Christmas season for over a century, the United State's Postal Service has delivered letters from children to the jolly old elf as part of 'Operation Santa.'

This year, 'Operation Santa' has gone virtual. One filmmaker catalogs this massive undertaking in the documentary 'Dear Santa', offering an inside look at the volunteers and workers making Christmas special for countless kids.
