President Joe Biden swearing in as the 46th president of the United States next to his wife, Jill Biden (right).

In his first speech as president Joe Biden declared that 'the American story depends not on any one of us, not on some of us, but on all of us.'

Biden immediately faces three major crises; the pandemic, the economy, and the increasingly polarizing political divide. Speaking directly to the people, the president called for unity in facing these challenges.
