Independence Nonprofit Expanding To Help At-Risk Youth

Missouri Department of Social Services Children's Division
According to Lori Ross, CEO of FosterAdopt Connect, on any given day, there are around 13,000 kids in foster care in the state of Missouri.

State funds are allowing FosterAdopt Connect to increase its programs including a drop-in center for homeless and at-risk teens.

FosterAdopt Connect is adding to its locations around the Kansas City metro. It plans to have three more adoption resource centers in the next two years.

Looking to fill service gaps in the communities it serves, FosterAdopt Connect has a goal of making sure that the families and children it serves has the help they need to be successful.
