This Former Kansas Lawmaker's Congressional Bid Keeps A Tight Focus On Education Funding

Tom Love
Former Kansas state lawmaker Tom Love said he wants to improve literacy rates, especially in early childhood education.

A late entrant into the race for Kansas' 3rd Congressional District, Tom Love has little in the way of endorsements or funding, but he's made education the core of his campaign.

"I'm running for issues to fix things," Love said. "I'm not running against people."
