Americans are returning to work but for those with disabilities, the unemployment rate remains over 80 percent.

Gainful employment is a key benefit in ensuring adults with disabilities can realize their personal and professional goals. In Kansas City, job opportunities for the disabled are scarce. One local ice cream parlor is making job opportunities for the developmentally disabled are a top priority.
